Ross, a 19-year veteran in education, has faithfully served the students, family, and staff of J.W. Long Elementary since he first started in Terrell ISD in 2011. After eight years at the elementary campus, Ross is excited to begin a new chapter at the secondary level.
“While I am saddened to leave J.W. Long and the wonderful faculty and great friends, I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with my former students again,” said Ross.
John Young, Terrell ISD Director of Bands and Fine Arts, noted that Ross’s proven track record of success as an elementary school choir director and church choir director makes him an excellent candidate for this position.
“Mr. Ross has proven himself well as an educator at J.W. Long Elementary,” said Young. “He brings with him a wealth of knowledge about Terrell ISD and our students which will aid him in building a successful choral program for the District.
Congratulations Mr. Ross on this wonderful new opportunity!
