“When we created this position, we knew we needed a dynamic and innovate leader to pioneer the role,” said Dr. Georgeanne Warnock, Terrell ISD Superintendent. “Mrs. Nichols is an excellent addition to our central administration team and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the position.”
As the Director of Recruitment and Retention, Nichols will be responsible for developing and implementing recruiting strategies designed to identify highly qualified educators to join the Tiger team. She will report to and work closely with the Executive Director of Human Resources.
“I am excited about the opportunity to network and partner with universities and teacher certification programs to recruit the best of the best for Terrell ISD,” shared Nichols. “I will absolutely miss seeing our littlest Tigers every day but know that the work I will be doing now will have a lasting impact on them throughout their time in TISD.”
Nichols will begin her new role as the Director of Recruitment and Retention on October 1, 2021. The District will begin accepting applications for her replacement as the W.H. Burnett Early Childhood Center Principal on September 14, 2021. To see the job posting visit www.terrellisd.org/jobs.
